It is no surprise that opening again after lockdown has heralded a few changes.  Hopefully the information on this page should answer any questions you have about your safe return to Holistic Therapies at Kanchani, but if you would rather discuss things personally, please do call me on 07812 639913.

What changes will you see?

  • All consultation forms available via email so they can be completed prior to appointments should you prefer.

  • Covid-19 questionnaire on arrival (for every appointment)

  • Payments will need to be contactless / bacs

  • The treatment room will be more clinical than before, any purely decorative items have gone and soft furnishings may have been removed as they cannot be sanitised safety between clients.  There will also be an increase in the use of disposable couch coverings, wherever possible these have been sustainably sourced.

  • I will be providing bottles of water following treatments, but it would be great if you could bring your own (saves on the recycling).

  • Restrictions on treatments.  To help minimise the spread of the virus, there can be no work on the face, so some treatments have been modified slightly whilst others have had to temporarily stopped.

  • Appointment duration  Following advice from my Professional Association the maximum treatment time is 1 hour.

  • PPE – Current guidelines are that I should wear a visor and gloves for massage treatments, however it is likely that I will also wear a face mask.  You are not obliged to wear a face mask but if you would be more comfortable wearing one then that’s fine.

What do I need you to do?

Arrival at appointment –

  • Please arrive on time and alone, and with a minimum of belongings with you.

  • Please sanitize your hands with the sanitiser provided by the front door.

  • If you or someone you live with has shown symptoms of Covid-19 in the 7 days prior to your appointment please contact me before attending so we can re-arrange your appointment.

Like everyone, I am waiting to see how the latest phase of re-opening goes, and how the Government responds If there are any changes to legislation or to the protocols I have to follow I will post updates here and also on facebook.
